RTE viewers all fell in love with one Rose of Tralee contestant tonight as she sang a beautiful rendition of a classic Irish song.
The hit show returned tonight with co-hosts Kathryn Thomas and Daithi O Se taking to the stage to welcome each Rose to the competition.
The Roses have taken to the stage tonight to share their life stories and talents with the audience and viewers.
However, one contestant had viewers falling over themselves as they fell in love with Wexford Rose Clíona O’Leary.
The 26-year-old was born and raised in the small but famous Wexford town of Boolavogue in Enniscorthy.
While in Wexford, Cliona works on her family farm where she is fond of operating the machinery.

However, outside of being a farmhand, she has always dreamed of gracing the walls of the Dome and being on stage herself competing in The Rose of Tralee.
Tonight, after years of attending the competition as a fan, Cliona made her mark and stole the hearts of viewers with her debut on the show’s mainstage.
Cliona further cemented herself as a front runner early in the night when she delivered a tear-jerking rendition of a classic Irish song.
The first-time Rose sang Boolavogue by The Dubliners as part of her special talent.
After her performance, viewers took to social media to share their thoughts and revealed they wanted her to be crowned winner.
Joanne said: “I love the Wexford Rose – her personality, her dress, her positivity!”
Louise commented: “Someone give the Wexford Rose the winner’s sash right now.”
William tweeted: “The Wexford Rose would be great for going around meeting people and promoting the Rose of Tralee.”
Aoife remarked: “Possible winner here.”
Shane joked: “In a shock move Fine Gael have announced they will be putting forward the Wexford Rose as their candidate in the Presidential election.”
Criona gushed: “Love the Wexford Rose. So down to earth.”
Another viewer added: “Do I know a single person from Wexford? No. Do I need the Wexford rose to win? Yes.”
