The lucky player bought the winning ticket from Nolan’s Garage Londis, Tralee in Co Kerry.

She got involved after hearing the promotion on the radio while getting fuel for her car.

And the woman revealed she has not been able to rest since she discovered the massive Lotto win after initially not even checking her ticket from the 22 November, 2024.

Recalling the moment she realised she won she said: “I usually play the lotto, but I heard the EuroMillions promotion on the radio on my way to get fuel for the car, so I decided to buy a quick pick.

“Over the weekend, I heard that a Kerry player had won but would never have imagined that it was my ticket. I didn’t even check my ticket until Sunday afternoon, it flashed up on screen that I’d ‘won big’ and to contact the National Lottery.

And the Dublin and Kerry women were not the only ones who made their way to Lotto HQ to collect their winnings.

A Fermanagh woman also made the trip to collect her winnings after scooping up €75,000 on a scratch card purchased from Applegreen St. Margaret’s, Swords, Co. Dublin.

The woman had called into the shop to pick up the scratchcard on the way home from work and initially thought she won much less.

‘JUMPING AND SCREAMING’

She explained: “I was on my way home from work and I had to pop into the shop to pick up something for dinner. I had €10 to spare, so I bought a scratch card for myself and my partner.

“When I got home, we scratched the card and I started jumping and screaming because I thought I’d won €10,000, and at that point, I wasn’t even finished scratching the card.

“When the celebrating initially stopped, I finished scratching the card and I was in genuine disbelief when I realised it was a card worth €75,000. And sure, the celebrating started once again – it was comical!”

The pair hid the ticket in a vinyl CD before claiming the fortune which she plans to use on a honeymoon.

FURTHER SCRATCH CARD LUCK

And a Meath woman also had luck on a scratch card scooping up €25,000 on a Mega Money Multiplier scratch card, bought from Brady’s Spar, Coolquay, Co. Dublin.

The woman plans to use her winnings to spoil her family for Christmas.

Explaining the shock when learning of the win she said: “My husband had given me €50 to put fuel in our car, so I decided to only put €40 in and spent the remaining €10 on a scratch card.

“When I scratched the card, I thought I’d won €20,000, I was in such shock that I had to walk back into the shop and ask the assistant to scan it and that’s when she told me there was an extra €5,000 on it – I was speechless!”

And a Carlow winner also claimed a €25,000 sum from a Money Multiplier scratch card.

They purchased the winning ticket from XL Graiguecullen, Chaff Street, Graiguecullen, Co. Carlow.
